When I'm old and cynical, I want to be a novelist.
I don't care what kind I am, I just like the sound of it.
I'm gonna give up alcohol, start drinkin' tea,
but I'll still get drunk on my insecurities,
and when I'm on the town, and someone offers me a drink,
I'll just fade into the background instead of raising up a stink.
When I'm old and biblical, I'll have a cabin in the woods.
I'll still have electricity, because it does the body good.
And when you come to visit, I'll be waiting outside,
No need for me to lock my doors, I've got nothing to hide.
